I love these little cars, it's a shame we don't get them in the states.

They missed a mark i think from not selling it over your way! Import one hahaha, a UK car in great condition will set you back as little as 700, same price as a new iPhone lol

Got the boot build and sub sorted, sub wired in nicely (Obs looks better than pictured now hahaha)

Rewired my indicators, as you can see they are now in the fog lamps

And got my new steering wheel on! Washer bottle has also been deleted and relocated to the back, it is now an Absolut Vodka bottle haha

And got my friend to knock up another sketch of my Lupo, his work is fantastic!!

Really like the colour-setup It looks really well. Are you thinking about doing something more in the interior?

Cheers man! Got so many little bits to tie in with it yet I will be eventually yes, i'd quite like to put some MK2 Golf GTI seats in it for an old skool look, plan to make it a bit more retro styled inside eventually too, not priority atm however. Once i have some spare cash it'l be getting done

Boot build is done, all washer bottle plumbing is finshed, and now all tied away

And as i've got the whole period racer theme going on...

"since when did Hella make covers for a Lupo?!"

    Sounds cool!

Those seats you have aren't that hard to peel the fabric off from. I'm thinking about the possibilities of "stealing" the gti-fabric in the middle and making it fit in your current seats. So you don't need to bother about the airbag-issue in the seats.. I'm not sure how it is in the uk models, but here in Sweden "airbaged" seats comes as standard.

I like your thinking Funnily i've had the same idea, but replacing it with Fresco green fabric instead, and no, i don't think any of the UK cars have airbags in the seats lol! Glad you've said it's easy tho!!

I've always wanted a Lupo GTI.

So i bought a brother for JDO today.

95k, Full service history, and 3 owners. Owned by the same woman for the past 7 years. Going to be a lovely new daily.
Coil overs and rims is the plan, clean and simple.

    Update time!

Beacon has his MOT on Saturday, flew through it! Had him on the road 4 day now, man i love it. What an amazing car.

Currently in boring winter spec... coilovers arrive this week

However, this is now my new hobby. It's really not cheap to run!

Sadly, this means i will have to sell the Swagon, shame really as i've loved it.

    Anyway, onto the main car!!

So, the body work has been painted this morning, hopefully ready for collection tomorrow. I've taken my Cambridge decals off as i've had some new ones arrive, slightly different font and colour this time! I've replaced the wheel centers for green instead of red, wired and plumed in the washer system, and tucked away all the wiring associated with the washer/sub. Looks really fresh now!

My lotus inspired badges are on the car to go with the retro theme, and all of the inside of the car is back together. Oh, i've also sawed off the back box and welded on a straight pipe, so it's now quite loud...

So hopefully tomorrow evening, it'l look like this.

I'll keep y'all posted, thanks for reading
