So, only option i really saw that could possibly work, was to remove the front helpers and then wind the spring up to compensate, meaning the spring would be under more tension therefore sagging nowhere near as much under compression.

the springs stays the same rating with or without helper spring
the only advance it's having is that you can go more low, and most of the time a tad wider with wheels because of the 3cm gain.

Funny you mention this! I was thinking about this statement myself at college, ended up turning into an hour long debate about what changes you actually make! I'm half way through doing my upper door cards, but of course i've ran out of glue! However it's now taxed and insured, so as of the 17th of Feb it's on the road! Decided to wait to my Birthday as the insurance is £284 LESS?!

Raised JDO (no really i raised it 10 turns and the height has not changed...) so i could get him on a trailer...

And after almost tearing my front bumper off, got him dropped off to the workshop for the final bits of paintwork, that being some blending.

Also copped a LOVELY retro nineties seat badge... sweet!



In other news...





Spent a few hours cleaning my daily, and put in my drivers front MK4 Golf Recaro... awesome seat! All of my lovely cleaning work was undone after 10 mins however, as the UK was being it's usual shitty self, resulting in my daily getting massacred by a salt spreader, and then a nice bit of rain. Lovely.
