This thread literally makes me so stoked. This thing is going to be nuts and I can't wait to see more progress! This build is half the reason I've been checking in lately and mostly because of the in depth motor work and fabricating. Please do take pics of the motor build, shits like porn for our eyes!

I'll definitely post lots of updates on the progress of the motor as well. Still awaiting the shipment of my engine parts that I placed last week. But with the holiday's I expect to receive them the first week of january.

It definitely helped selling my other car to free up funds, and luckily a lot of awesome companies stepped up to support this build. I couldn't do this on my own. It won't cost nearly that much to run this season however considering I'm only running half schedule and I do all the work myself to maintain the car between events. Not to say I won't spend a lot, but this last season I ran more events and had to travel long distances as well so we'll see.

Now a small update on the car, it should be back from the molds next week, they're doing well so far.

18 Fab is buckling down on the car to get more progress knocked out quick. In the meantime, I'm still getting parts together as well.

My Dailey engineering billet pan/pump showed up at EFI University as well as my ATI Damper...

My forged rods did as well, but I decided pay the extra (3x the price) and upgrade to full billet rods. As much money as i'm throwing at this motor, I don't want a weak link. The oil pan/pump was nearly $4k alone with a discount

I'm sitting at the airport now in Oklahoma typing this, my dad and I had to fly back here for some cancer treatment stuff for him, but we scheduled this around the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, an indoor dirt track race that's going on all week. We've always wanted to attend so it was a cool way to turn around a shitty situation.
