Civic spaceforce project in process

Hello all! Sorry for my English – it isn’t my native language

When we start the project we all think about the concept. Some of us try to copy famous ones, some of us think about cheapest but effective way, rich guys order Rocket bunny and become lower and wider like a boss.

My car is unknown on the US market, it is HONDA CIVIC FK2 2007, for European market imported to Russia in 2008.



The design is described like “spaceship”, “space shuttle” etc. , so the concept of the project is to finalize it and fly into space.



I started with exterior and ordered Type R bodykit, from spoiler to the front grill. Of course, it was not enough and then I found ENKEI SELBACH 17’ 9J, which oldschool design was fantastic.

On a stock suspension they did not look enough effective so I decided to make custom air suspension.



Of course, Airlift is a good stuff, but very expensive in Russia. And here was the idea to make unique air management. As I have a “space shuttle”, it should have a space joystick!

As you see, I am 3spoke wheels fan as I tend to think that this design is the best for the car.
Some words about them:
ENKEI Selbach 17x9j around, ET 45 rear and 38 front, 1988 year model



45 is too little for civic big ass so I planted 2 adapters 17 mm each to rear suspension and then added 5 mm for the wheel.


Also, I have polished them all and the began to shine as “cat’s eggs”



But 17 is not enough so I sold it this summer.

yes that's right

it has 3 modes:

all wheels up/down - best for extreme surface condition at high speed
front axis up/down
rear axis up/down

Putting the air-ride controls in the joystick is topnotch work.

We diceded to polish it ourselves and here is the result
