  • Turbo E30 vert build

Hey guys new to the forum. I'm gonna start of saying my spelling and grammar is terrible been this way for along time and it's not gonna change. I have two E30 convertibles ones a 92 and the other a 88. Also have F10 535 m sport with full bolt ons as well.

I started this build about 6 months ago. I've owned the car for 5 years and it's gone through a lot with me so decided to do it right for once.

2.8 bottom end I head ported head and 288 Cam built By Vac motor sports
Custom sheet metal intake manifold in the works by Late APEX Fab here in Fort Worth
Miller 4" MAF and war chip
    52 pound injectors
    Rapid Spooling Industrys turbo manifold
    Garret GT3076R
    HKS SSQ BOV
    Tial 44mm waste gate
    3" intercooler piping
Intercooler is massive don't fully remember the size

    South bend stage 3 clutch
    UUC Evo short shifter
    Garage tastic DSSR
    Tunner motor sports Alumiumun Flywheel

    Suspension
    Ground control coil overs
    Mason strut bar
    Mason lower subframe brace
    Power flex bushings all round
21mm sway bar in the front
Tree house racing control arm bushings
    Garage tastic secondary diff mount

    Brakes
Willwood 6 piston in the front
Wiating for the 4 piston for the rear to be made
    UUC stainless brake lines
    Chase bays ABS delete

    Body work

Flossman DTM M3 front Fenders , bumper and undertray
    DTM Fiber Werkz
    M3 QT
    Evo side skirts
M3 Evo wing with carbon flap
    M1 style vented hood
    Evo rear bumper

The car is currently at late apex fab in Fort Worth having the cage made , sheet metal intake manifold fuel cell and an fuel lines chassis reinforcement and a ton of other stuff then off to paint and body work.

Wheels I can't decide im really thinking about having a set of 3 piece work Meisters 18x11 in the rear 18x9.5 up front.

Power goal is around 450 500 with how light this car is that's all it will need.

No it will not be a race car I'm building the car to be what I always wanted and that's a street E30 convertible with race car behavior.

When I get a chance I'll upload pictures

I really can't stress enough how great Erik from
Late apex fabrication has been. I waited 3 months before he could get to the car and it was well worth.

this is rad. the manifold is going to be awesome. are you going to keep the hard top on it? or run it without it?

The regular top has been completely removed. So it's hard top on or off.

Rear trunk pans have been cut out to make room for the M3 bumper

I've always thought 18s were too big on e30's so here's hoping for 17s! But I can't tell this is gonna be sweet.

                              Hope it does brother lol

Don't wanna offend anyone with what I say next but I wanted to build a real car. The way cars used
To be done before the whole "instafamous" shit happened. Cars that weren't built in a weekend. So I made a list of everything that I ever wanted and on the list was Old school with the ability to destroy a GTR or a supra. Now the car won't have more then 500hp but it will actually be able to put it down
