On-board computer and additional indicators in the old car is impressive
Today can forget about the furnishing of the factory in most cars.
What are the plans for the interior?

I have not decided for anything yet, but I don't think there will be any major changes. Maybe some material upgrade and some more wood..
The obc is pretty good for its age, it have fuel range, fuel consumption realtime and average. Average speed, stop watch and a calendar which goes from 1982-1992......optimistic as always at Ford!

Looks amazing! Something different. Looks very similar to the Ford Falcon XD models.

          Love your E38 as well.

Oh my... My wallet really could have gone throughout its life without knowing that car existed. I however cannot and I am in love. I have never been a ford guy besides the old sierra cosworth's and early escorts but this, this is absolutely insane. I seriously love this car. I tip my imaginary hat to you sir. Good job man.

              Update:

Rear brakes done. CNC machined caliper bracket, new wheel bearings, cleaned up and painted the rear suspension.
Welded and painted the fuel tank, it is not possible to get a new one any more.

Amazing car!! everything, the spec, the stance, the wheels, the paint, amazing!!

whoever prep'd and painted that car in black to that finish is a master body man. (you or someone else I cant tell)

Where did you get the turbofans?

any more pictures of the engine?

                        e38 is sweet also..

Gold stripe will be back when I get 17" Turbofans sometime.
You did get your very own Ford Granada in the US, but it did not look very good compared to the Euro version in my opinion.
This was a very popular car in Europe from early 70's to mid 80's, a cheaper alternativ to BMW E28 and Mercedes W123. Now there are very few left here in Norway and Europe in general.
It was made in Cologne/Köln in Germany and the factory is still there, and I'm going back there next year for the 40'th anniversary

Thanks, it's took many (30) hours to wetsand and polish this car. Used 1000grit-2000-3000- Svisswax Strong - Svissvax Regular - Svisswax Finish and finally Svisswax Crystal Rock.
Here are some Pictures from that prosess:

                                Thank you!

                                A little update again:

I changed the original brake booster and master cylinder with a complete unit from a 997 C4, since I'm now using the 4pot Brembo caliper front and rear instead of the singel pot front and 9"drums rear.
The 997 brake booster is in similar size as the oem but do have the reservoir in a different angle:

Just had to redrill the holes for the 997 booster and plug the hole for the clutch:

Since the drums are gone and the Brembo caliper don't have handbrake I had to convert to a hydraulic cylinder to operate it, using the original lever:

Now the car had 50/50 brake bias and a adjustment valve had to be fitted:
