N54 powered Datsun 240z

    Finally getting back into making progress on this. I ended up scrapping my original frame idea, picking up a 335 shell, cut essentially everything off it and dropped the body of the Z over the top of it. I had to shorten the wheelbase 18 inches to line the wheels in the body.

    I cut the orignal mounting brackets from the factory frame rails and welded them into the new square frame so that the front subframe can bolt in like factory.

    Really happy with how the front is coming together. Had a buddy of mine tig weld the main down bars, mostly everything is just tacked in place for mock up still.

      Made the main floor then worked my way back to the rear subframe.

      Now doing a inboard cantilever setup.


      As for the body ive been going back and forth on doing a Carbon Signal kit but the price was just out of my budget. So i got in touch with Ulterior Motives and they made me some custom flares.
