My Casino Royale Painted JZX100 Chaser

Not done a build thread on here for my Chaser so thought it was about time i did put something up.


Bought the car in August last year, used it skidded it for a couple months at my local track Driftland in Scotland.

Took the car off the road in Novemebr for a complete refresh.

So time to get the lows and the arches cut down ready for the tubs to be made. I am delighted at this height 40mm drop at the rear and we will go for another 20mm at the front.



Door panel test fitted




A good bit more work was done waiting on the arms from Hardrace to sort camber and see if i am actually going to be able to run these wheels, or bite the bullit and go bigger. Once the camber is sorted Kyle thinks we will be cool with them as is so shall see.

Rear fenders and door extentions fitted properly. Rear arches fully tubbed, so if a tyre explodes drifting my fibrglass in theory should not. i am delighted just to be removed as i am painting the car and fenders seperate as we have a little sneaky plan for what will be holding them back on after paint

Ducktail again test fitted and think it works well with the line











Rear arches finished up by the lads at Chizfab



Base colour for the car decided on after many conversations. So it was applied behind the fenders











Rear fenders re attached for the final tikme and bonded and riveted on






Rear bumper to be modified and filled to look like it was always extended



New whhesl arrived

SSR sp3's in some great sizes 18x11.5 et -21 for the rears

Rest of the car stripped







Engine bay stripped as far as i can go without removing engine and some paint applied

Bay all de masked and put back together for now. Ignore the garden hose its getting changed out






Inner arch and wing cleaned up and painted. Coilover lets it down changed out to the new bc's as soon as its painted




Fibreglass panels given a coat of Dolphin glaze so there are no ripples once painted





Car moved out the booth so can be prepped



Ducktail cleaned up and filled where rivet indents were




Boot completed



Start of the Panels going into black high build primer









Good bit done, All my braces are back from the powder coaters



Not into fog lights and won't running them so the mounting point on bumper removed







Ready for primer

Picked up 6 ccw skid wheels and 2 works that were on the DW 86 managed to sort out custom spacers to be made and the wheels straight off for powder coat when they arrive





Back of the boot and bonnet painted.

Nothing too exciting but finally glad to see some paint going on the car, Alot of work to get to this stage.

Steering wheel and gearknob are still in the retrimmers just now.

Seats are getting fitted this week,

Picked up a minty fresh cooling panel for the car will get that on next week and a few other small jobs for now to do then use it!

Thanks a lot guys it's getting there.

Interior is in the process of being done just now hopefully have the seats in later this week as they are causing a few size problems as the top wrap arounds are catching the b pillar.

Work in progress got the steering wheel and shifter in getting retrimmed just now.
