I am very excited to see how this build goes. My mom had a '92 XJ6VP in the 90's.

Thanks guys! I'm really happy that someone finds it sort of interesting..

So, this shit about keeping the costs down.. It didn't work out.
I'll keep you updated once I get the wheels home

They will be 18x11.5 rears. The front maybe 18x10.

                      The wheels arrived today.
They are RH/Artec turbo p. Fronts are 18x8.5 et57 and rear is 18x9 et52. I will keep the barrels since they will fit pretty good with 16mm adapters. But I will order new lips for all 4.
Rear lips will be 5.25". Resulting in 18x11.5 et20 + adapters.
Front lips will be either 4.25 or 3.75. I will have to measure once i start on the front suspension.

                      Hopefully it will be low..

Oh man, I love this. Very sleek and classy thus far. This is one of those examples that show just about any vehicle can benefit from a lower ride height and some tasteful wheels.

Can't wait to see it with your new wheels!

Basically I have not done anything. I am renovating my kitchen at the moment so that takes up most of my time and money.
But I have removed the front springs and bumpstops to measure some height. I need to run some shorter shocks up front to not bottom out when driving. But the ride height will be this, + maybe 10mm.

Gangster. Nice job. Clean up the paint and it will be a real head turner.
