This picture crossed my browser the other week and I haven't been able to shake the idea of a lowered quad. I have a late 80's Yamaha Warrior 350 at work that no one would lament the ruination of...
It's too old and slow to even take as a back-up quad on an offroading trup. But I know that the engine was rebuilt not too long ago and the only mechanical problem is a chain guide. I did a little research on parts for my specific quad and came up with $55 for these parts to lower the warrior around 4".
But one look at the front suspension and I'd rather just relocate a few brackets and sacrifice any semblance of suspension geometry.
This obviously won't be off-road capable but I figure some careful customization and a set of atv-sized street tires and I'll have something truly worthless to bring to car shows.
Any thoughts, tips, prior experience?
