          Lets continue

Because car was behaving strange (swimming and bouncing like ship, was to soft) on this Lowtec rear springs (-30mm), we put M-tech.I springs (-20mm). Now it looks like this at rear

and because it has high mileage, it is time to do some preventive maintenance...

this last pict. is not mine, just for illustration how it all looks like

          All parts instaled OEM BMW
          -new chain
          -timing guides
          -tensioner
          -oil separator
          -water pump
          -all new filters, new oil...

Preventive service is done and lets continue with some interesting add-ons...

            Hi-fi SQ stuff...

            HU: NBT
            DSP:
            -HELIX DSP Pro+DIRECTOR controller+Bluetooth...

            AMPS:
            -Helix A2 Competition (for midbas) [2x150 w rms @ 4 ohm class A]
            -Helix A4 Competition (for tw+mid) [4x98 w rms @ 4 ohm class A]
            -Hifonics Colossus X3 25 th. anv. edition (for sub) [1x2000 w rms @ 4 ohm class A/B]

            Speakers:
            Tw: Vifa XT25
            Mid: HAT L4
            Midbass: Scan Speak Relevator 18W-4531G0
Bass: JBL w12 GTi MkI (will be IB setup)

            Accessories:
Speaker cables: VDH Royal Jade, VDH cs-122, DLS SC
Interconnects: VDH d102 mk3 with RF plugs

Batt: OPTIMA yellowtop YTS 5.5 75Ah
Power cables: Kicker, DIETZ 70/50mm2, ....
            Distribution: Audison connection

            Damping:
            STP Silver 2.0 mm
            STP Anticor Gold 2.1 mm
            STP Splen 3008 8 mm
            Armaflex 13 mm

For all of this gear up, NBT was best choice (reason No.1 why is in car) and it is coded to Hi-Fi flat output, added RCA Gladen interconnects.
Still i have another solution to connect NBT-DSP via MOST interface and then all signal path will be pure DIGITAL

All parts are in garage so lets start with install...

            New batt IN..

            strip most of interior out...

            all prepared, time for cutting

            Ups...

And time for some STP Gold sound deadening

and as night come, we are still in trunk....all for SQ

            Time for rest until tommorow...

            Next day we continue with..

            Helix DSP pro

            DIRECTOR controller...

            where to put it...hm

Here above on roof near Mic

ok this part is finished, now front doors next

Wow, gorgeous car! I too prefer the RH wheels to the Schmidts, but I'm excited to see how those new wheels look when mounted up. Keep up the great work!

Really liking this, M sport kit looks amazing, but for me personally theres far too much meat on those tyres, lower profile and less width needed, the RHs didn't stand out like they should have because of the huge rubber, as an example E39 style 32 wheels never looked good until they were put on an E36/E46 with stretched tyres.
