This honestly looks like a very simple way for wide body up front.
I would need to see a top view to say exactly where to cut (assuming same car)
You can cut right on the body line and widen it like that, or cut the top right before where it mounts to the car and start adding metal there.
looks like its a V or triangulated piece that was added to give it the wideness. the bottom is just flat so it's self explanatory-FREEDOM- is cruisin at 80, windows down and listening to the perfect song-thinking "this is it"
