From what i have seen, 18s should be perfect for your car. The easiest way to look at wheel fitment is the lower the offset, the more the wheel will poke / stick out of the fenders. Understanding offset is key to dialing in the fitment on your car. And once you get the wheels, the tires will depend on how aggressive the fitment you want to go for is. The lower the offset of the wheel you buy, the more dramatic the stretch will have to be. And your air struts should have camber covered. Do you plan on buying multi piece or one piece wheels?
EDIT
You will also have to consider how close the wheel will be to your struts, also determined by the offset. And basically what i am saying is, the best way to go after stancing your car is doing the research and measurements to get the right fitment you want, and then rolling fenders, adjusting camber, stretching tires etc. In order to make them fit.Last edited by Robitussin; 01-19-2015, 06:21 PM.e28 build thread
