Have you considered going with a race inspired livery on the car for shits and giggles. It will hide some of those scuffs and scratches.

Well if it's turbocharged, a tune is always a world's difference.
I suggest taking it to a reputable tuner to see what's going on and to make sure your maps are 100% before romping on it.
