chrome dipped? what about caramel dipped! ok next is getting the bolts nice and shiny before putting it all together, everything is ready to go except for the ashy bolts. anyone care to give me a few pointers other than polishing? is there anything i can just drop them in to make it super easy but safe on the metal? thanks!

Reason: im dumb
they're just really dull and sort of grimey. ill take pics when i get home from work. i was searching google and people were saying use CLR or just coca cola. call me lazy but im trying to avoid the polishing thing all together =P
^ there is no way around not polishing homie, i tried to do the same thing with my rs's !
Dunk the bolts in a tub of simple green with water mixture (50/50) for a day or so. Then just scrub them with a toothbrush.
As for the caps apply paint stripper to the caps, then go:
80 grit (be CAREFUL with this grit. If you do it too hard, you will really dig into the metal)
180 grit
320 grit
400 grit
600 grit
800 grit
1000 grit
1500 grit
2000 grit
Then you can use the polishing compound.
and top it off with mothers polish and you should be good to go !
hmm, simple green for the bolts, sounds good. what if i got some serious deep gouges in the center caps? might as well go out and buy the half heights? i need to grab plastic polish as well because the previous owner did not take care of these wheels well at all. ill see what i can do though, thanks man!
