    Hi, My name is Adam and I like Volkswagens.


    Here is my Volkswagen when I first got it.




    And here's what it currently looks like.

    Oregon car pulled out of a barn In Beaverton where it sat since about 1970. Car has 4k original miles, and, OG panama beige paint.
    some specs:
    6" narrowed beam
    2.5" drop spindles
    Flipped tie rods
    Narrowed headlight buckets
    extended/notched spring plates
    3 outer clicks (I believe)
    40 horse 1200cc engine completely stock
    6v electronics
    Factory pop out windows

    Wheels/Tires:
    front-4.5" et.+34 BBT sprintstars wrapped in 145x65r15 tires
    Rear-5.5" et.+10 BBT sprintstars wrapped in 185X65r15 tires

    One of these days when I have more time I'll make a build thread for the car with a lot more pictures.

          Yeah it got parked really early in its life after a front end collision but I was able to take most of it out and to make it look good. I will eventually re-clip the front end to make it right. further plans are to enjoy it! Ill eventually flat pan it and remove the jack points and possibly (most likely not) pie cut the frame head.

          I might actually raise up the front a half-3/4 of an inch as it sits because today was its first real test drive and it scraped on EVERYTHING. haha

            sweet build man, isnt that the 63 that was in a chicken coop along with a 65 or 66 bug that was in a rollover accident?

              No it came from a barn in beaverton. My friend actually bought the car and I bought it from him. He says there was some baja bugs and he was gonna go buy one to flip and make some cash but when they were pulling up they were rolling this 63 out of a barn. He bought this instead and apparently the dude wouldnt let him look in the barn. haha
