I am pretty much dead set on buying a W221 S550 as my next car and I want to do a air ride set up on her. I have little to no knowledge as it pertains to air ride systems, so I am partially relying on your expertise in this matter.

I know very little about the newer Mercedes-Benzes, but I believe a W221 should have hydropneumatic suspension from the factory. You may want to look into whether there are any solutions to get low on that setup, such as lowering links or similar.
