So in the quest of laying frame and achieving et perfect fitment aired out on my GTO I am trying to find ways to get the car lower.
I have Universal Air Aero Sports with BC coilover brackets on my BC coilovers. I am about .5-.75 inches from resting my skidplate/oilpan on the ground.
So here are the places I see the drop to be achieved. So my strut mounts do not sit down in notches the brackets, So should I have notches in the brackets cut out larger to fit the mount in? or can I run without the brackets? I just don't want to tear up my bags.
So for those who don't know what the brackets and bags look like.
The other place I see a slight drop achievable is in the strut mounts themselves. With the BC springs the spring sat up inside the mount. So could cutting down the polyurethane to make the mount sit 100% flush on the bag/bracket make any difference in height or should it just kind of squish down to sit flat as it is.
