Default New Golfer from South Africa

    Hi Guys

I been browsing thru here for a few days, there some great cars here!
The photography is also pretty amazing!
My girlfriend and i are pretty serious car people, her dad has owned a few alfas, so she has been exposed to cars for most of her life!
I have built a few of my own cars, i love vw's but i think i'd like to fiddle with a bmw when i'm big!

    any way here some pictures

here is my car.... i'm a bit of a wheel whore....

its an '88 Golf Mk II, she's the daily....

    coilovers
    256 mm MK III brakes
    tt lower control arm bushes
    2,0lt engine
    288 cam
    chipped ecu
    6n Polo dash swap
    MK IV recaros
    Tartan Interior
    some sound

    This is in daily mode

and this is with the 165's, these are sparco 3 piece wheels they 16x7,5j et 20

    and a little camber

    and the 6n dash

and when i had the phat 5's with 185 35's

    and the 928's with 165's

and here is my project car its 1991 2,0 16v, i'm restoring/customizing it....

I will be takin some proper pics of her soon, some things still need doing thou...

and lastly here is my girlfriends car....
    its a 2004 citi golf....
it has coilies vr6 brakes an a 2,0lt engine, i've done a load of work on the motor!
The head has been gasflowed, the valves have been 3 angle cut, manifolds match ported, sub balanced, and it has a custom map on the ecu, its making around 130kw at the flywheel, its pretty fast, we have raced a few e36 m3's and they can't come past down the strip....

its running 16's compomotives, they from an old alfa and we;ve just restored them!

anyway hope you guys like, i'v put loads of effort into the stance of these cars, i will be running 9j wheels on the 16v soon, there is a bit of work to get them to fit properly but it should look pretty sweet when done!

    Thanks for looking....

    Nice cars!

I can't get into stretch on skinny wheels, though.
