The car needed that wing, it completes the look
Thank you, when I first saw the wing years ago, I knew it had to be.

Thank you. The part you said: "... and connection you get with your car."

That is something I am trying to learn how to grow and appreciate.

I've had many different cars, and often dream of cars I want to have in the future.
But funny enough, I find myself looking back at car's I've had, and missing them.
Not for how fast or expensive they were, but for the memories I was able to make with them, and the way they made me feel.
I want to do more of that. I want to have meaningful experiences in this car.

    Keep it up man!

I'm a fan of everything going on exterior wise except the winglets on the front lip.

Ouch man, I cobbled those together with my own two hands...

You bring up a sensitive subject. When I bought the body kit you see on the car now, it also came with a front bumper. I did not install it because everyone was running the "drift body kit" on their RX7's, and I wanted to do something to make the OEM front bumper work with the rest of the kit. Knowing that if I failed miserably, I could always just slap my drift bumper on. One day, I left that bumper outside in my front yard between moves, and it got stolen overnight. So then I really had to make the OEM bumper work. Sounds like I'm not doing too great a job of it though. I know what you mean. The winglets don't quite flow, they only look half-way decent from certain angles.

Since I only like a handful of FC front bumpers, and I've got much love for drifting, this looks like the next move.

At some point I would really like to get some lipped Work Meister or Equip 05's on this thing (or mesh SSR, or, or, or)... so I'm going to need the front end to look proportional to the rest of the kit.

To be fair, the only shot of the winglets that I'm not a fan of them is in that last shot. It's almost like its to hard of a step out from the front lip where they start.

Maybe I can help you out...

Hopefully you don't get a million dollars.

(In all seriousness, that sucks big time. Were you getting on it much?)

The clips on that cover broke a while ago and I kept putting off fixing them.

I went on a lively jaunt in a fit of rage, and somewhere between triple-digit speeds and burnouts, it had come loose and found itself resting on my blistering headers.

    Been driving the car.

Taking 1-hour and 2-hour drives to build confidence in long distance driving with this car. Some day I would really like to drive it to the ocean.

This weekend was a 4-hour drive. Performed wonderfully. It was just me and my dream car come true. Had my music up, blasting through mountain roads, living the dream.

When I got to the lake, people kept walking up and asking questions about the car.

I've had people check out my cars before, but never like this. A few cars driving by actually pulled over to check it out.
One of the guys actually knows the guy that makes the Granny's Speed Shop kits that I'm running in this car.
It was so awesome to see people respond to something that I've put so much time and thought into.
    Man, I've missed this.
