  • Removing hardened tire rubber on fender?

So... I have a whole bunch of rubber from my tires that has created a rock hard film on the outside of my fender due to rubbing all day hahah...
Anything that will get that off or am I screwed?

heat it up with a heat gun and then scrape off with a plastic putty knife.

That is going to heat up the clear coat as well which is going to scrape off easier than the rubber.

Don't heat it up too much though because I forgot about the clearcoat and he ^^^^^ brought up a very good point
