  • Morris Minor 3.1L v6 hybrid?

Hi, I'm a newb. I have a 1959 Morris Minor with a bad engine that I WAS going to restore, until my brother totaled my 2001 Chevy Malibu.

Every component in the Malibu is still good, and it starts right up, doesn't even leak water or oil. but the steering, front suspension and body is destroyed. So I instantly thought, what if I somehow put the Malibu engine into the Morris? Is this possible? would I need to upgrade or change everything on the Morris to accommodate it?

I have seen people transfer the bodies of Morris minors onto the rolling chassis of other cars, but I don't think that would work with the Malibu, since it is so badly totaled. Any advice as to how I would do this?

I don't want to part out the Malibu, because I loved the car, but I don't want to let all those good parts go to waste either.

I dunno I mean morris minor engine swaps sound badass,

But a gm 3.1l v6 from 2001 probably so much
3100's are just weak, 170 hp from 3.1l and gasket problems from hell.
    For comparison my m54b30 3.0 in my 2001 5 series makes 230hp...

its totally possible, but i don't think id use that engine
