For your own posts and threads, click your name over on the right, then the statistics tab.

Know its an old tread. But nearest one to my question:

And where is the "post new" button for posting a new tread? Can only answer to existing ones... And used hours to find out how to get access to make new posts. Can't see any info anywhere about this. Not even by searching "Posting Permissions" or anything else :-/
Do I have to post x times in existing treads maybe? And if so, any categories that don't give me any count?
Get no feedback from admins how to get the "You may not post new threads" permission altered... So I'm stuck...

Have both/either one of you received email confirmation links? Have you followed the link?
Also, to view new posts go to the top left corner, click on "Whats New" or "New Posts"

Yes. Done both links and the entering of activation ID. Both times it states that I already have been activated.
Used "Whats New" or "New Posts" also with no change or any new post button.
    Tried different web browsers also.

What it states in the posting permissions:

Thanks for your feedback, can I ask where someone might find this info on their own? I wasn't able to find it for looking by checking the FAQ and support section.

    Cheers.

It's standard practice for most forums that you require five posts before being able to create your own thread...

It is not instant that you get access to creating a thread when you hit 5 posts, it takes a little bit
