  • (Maybe) Alfa stance project, need advice!

    Hello guys!

Long, long time creeper here. Finally have the time and $$$ to get something going. But i really need your help here. On offer is a very, very nice Alfa 164 from 89, no rust and pretty well looked after - only one owner. Just passed it's MOT with no remarks, so apparently a pretty decent car.

What i need to know is: Is this a really stupid car to start with?

    Thanks in advance guys.

    No! 164 is cool

Is it 4 or 5 stud? 164 came with both. Start with some coilovers, and find some nice wheels. 18" on 164 is a little bit to big, so i would go for 17". Love Zender Milano`s on older Alfaes, but they are rear.

Thanks for the reply! It's a 5 lug pattern. IIRC 5x98 or something like that? Tough choice on wheels if i decide to own this beauty.

      I was thinking: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...o%27_wheel.jpg

If i could source a set like that, ever...

You can use 5x100 with wobble bolts. OZ Futura's look good to. Coilovers can't be bought, you need to make them yourself. And try finding a QV bodykit, they look awesome.
