Im a day late on my report so ill start it off big, I got stupid low...

        IMG_5019

So yesterday was a really big day, a long day, and a really pain in the ass day! the GC kit is awesome in every way possible but the cutting and rewelding of the housing is a real pain in the ass. You HAVE to make sure your housing is perfectly straight otherwise its extremely hard to thread the cap back into the housing. We eventually got it done and threw the kit together in no time!

And i know i should paint them, they will be. just in for a test run right now!

Here is the rear, still has to settle a little, but honestly i was expecting to be able to go lower...

        IMG_5007

Also found these and made them my new lifting blocks

        IMG_5010

Even with them its still a struggle!

So now that im finally low I need to start figuring out wheels! I dont have a very large budget for wheels so ive been looking at diamond steelies, i see most guys running a 10mm spacer up front to clear the calipers but if i run a spacer do i still need to shave the calipers? Look at the first post in this link...

I wanna run 16x8 in the front and 16x10 in the rear, just like the specs on that car^

is there a reason you used the IX cartridges on the e? I thought they were longer.

no theyre actually a few inches shorter than standard e/i front shocks, since in cut dow the housings they would fit easier and i could get full travel out of them

The rear suspension isnt quite as low as i want and i dont know how to go lower! In spun all the way down on the perches with what i think are 5" springs, im not sure if the e30s are prone to the sway bars holding up the car from going lower? is there anything i can do to get any more distance? I know there are a ton of e30 guys on here so someone please help me out!

                              E30 NEED MORE LOW!

take the adjuster off in the rear and you will be lower.
