I love 7's, but it's not a car to slam. Still interested to see how it looks though.

QFT, I've seen a few in person and I don't think I would have the guts to do it.

This is a replica though and a very sweet build. OP I can't wait to see it finished.

So haven't done too much as customer's cars have been in need of repair or mods so haven't had time and going to miss the November deadline, not many projects stick to them anyway

So this is what has happened so far:
Machined up some spacers for the shocks to clear the rockers

Made up some push rods for the front suspension

then was able to put her on the ground

Still need to find the right tyres(and cash for them), current ones have a profile that's way too big

started making the cover/firewall around the pedal box

Must drop the engine in soon, will lower the front lot, then of to the dyno before skinning it... well can do all of that if customers aren't wrecking their cars and delaying my build

Sooo after struggling to pay University fees and find some time inbetween classes and work, the rules of the race class have changed, 15" wheels with a specified semi slick tyre
tyres are Dunlop direzza's 195/55 R15 and the wheels are work knock offs in 15x7 et18

Started making the rollcage, going to be similar to the Catheram full roll cage, just added some reinforcements, got the rear end finished now for the rest

So the chassis went off to sandblasting and we sprayed it black with some hardener mixed in

Rent-a-racer on the grass for mid2015-2016, still have a few things to tie up like fab up a radiator and mount the oil cooler but its almost there, about 80% through on the wiring, then also get through all the customers cars around
