I found one for $1800 that doesn't look too bad, but I emailed the seller for more pics. It runs but apparently is leaking oil around the valve cover. Not that I care because I will be going 1j, but I want to be able to drive it right away.

i hear that, if i magically find a cressi im not gonna fuck with it for a good while. i probably wont even convert it to manual and just cruise

Mechanically competent or not- sometimes it's not worth the headaches.

That said, a properly-built turbo car shouldn't ever yield headaches. Especially motors that came boosted from the factory. (SR20DET's, 2JZ-GTE's, RB26DETT'S, ect ect)

the timing on a jz motor is as easy as lining up the the marks on the timing belt, this amazed me as ive wrestled with timing on euro cars for DAYS. you jap fags have no idea how easy you have it

they hold up well in to the 350hp range.

on my tune i make 350whp on 14psi without fucking with timing too much

the turbos can hit 18psi too just gotta get solid engine management and a good tune for close to 400.


but at the i need stand alone stage might as well get a single
