I'm just bored at work, I'm seriously just looking at car parts already. Tires are the next on my list.

Thanks to Seb I'm looking at classics that I can finance. Even though I really shouldn't. I don't need two project cars and a motorcycle.

Seb, Leavenworth is June 10th, so you have plenty of time to get your car long distance road trip ready.

    ET: No idea.

    Ahaha I'm sorry CJ!

The 10th of June is a solid time. I'm going to try and find a local Porsche place to see how much a service and tune-up will be, I'm aware of someone out in Pasadena that I have a contact with which could come in handy...

I'd be so down for a trip up to Leavenworth though, would be a nice run!

Luckily you live in L.A. now and we're almost spoiled for air-cooled Porsche specialists options.

Seriously debating the merits of a first gen Cayman S.

How commonplace are they to see out there? I'm lucky if I see a single aircooled sexpot two or three times a year.

Leading a new project at work, apparently we have a new operator that I need to train.

    Not looking forward to this.

No he gets all my spare parts, and I get what I paid for it 5 years ago. I'm probably going to buy a Subaru wagon for daily drive duty.

Then a 510 for kicks, and finish up my Z car.

I've seen a couple since owning mine, always friendly and give them a wave.

Thoroughly enjoyed my ten minute commute to work this morning, five minutes getting her warmed up and five minutes having some fun with the wet roads.

Yeah. Need to get my credit back on track again. Moving out was expensive as hell. Probably just going to have ODB as my only car for a while after the VW is gone.

I can't imagine it's anything as perplexing as the "Subaru wave" but still, must be cool. Glad you're enjoying the car! What's on your list of things to do for it?

I am jealous that you can drive a car that old and modified year round. Winter sucks.

All I can imagine the Subaru wave being is when one owner sends out a huge vape cloud out their window when they see another Subaru owner in the distance. A signal of sorts.

As for a list, I started a little thread to keep it all in one spot.

But I am really just wanting to get the engine as strong as possible, some nice tires and wheels. I want to strip the interior into a daily/track setup and that's probably all that will happen for now!

    Vape cloud isn't far off.

Replied to the thread, car is bad ass, dude.

I faintly remember getting excited to drive the Nova around this summer and somehow it's in pieces in my garage after only 4 miles so...

I've definitely considered WRX wagons for a daily. Don't have any experience with Subaru though.

Have the day off today. So far I've done a whole lot of nothing.

I wish so bad I had the day off today, really want to start removing the not working factory A/C from the Porsche.

I can see the compressor hoses in the engine bay and I just don't want them in there!

I need to get up off my ass and figure out why the fuck the power passenger seat in ODB doesn't work. Probably throwing in a resonator this weekend too. The thought of my girlfriend riding shotgun in that fucking car is mildly scary.
