I think I am turning into a bitter old man though, spending too much time around people starts to just piss me off.

I get mad at people's incompetence but then remember I have to be a leader and try and help them.
A lot of patience is required that I feel is just dwindling each day I come into work.

Definitely, there are times where it would be beneficial, but other days where I have to be in the office.

I am trying to get to that position. It's difficult when your team can sometimes hit you with that retardation when you least expect it.
