It was my first car. It’s actually a collector edition, one of 2500 made. I parked it in ‘13 because I was busy in school and didn’t have any money to work on it. Life happened and I got married and had a kid. I was driving an 05 STI and one day I said, “ fuck this Subaru, I want to take my sone to his first day of school in something fun. Sold the STI for 12k and am dumping it into paint and parts for the Datsun. It also helps when your wife says you need to do this. For now it’s Header, triple carbs, coils and 16x10.5 -51 wheels. Plus some rare OG shit.

This right here is why I bought my 911. I want to take my kid to his first day of school in it. Whatever it is at that time, I want him/her to feel proud of the fact that their Dad built the car they got to go in to school for the first day.

Luckily my wife is also onboard with this. As much as she doesn't necessarily trust me with the passion/hobby, she knows that it is important to me and therefore supports it as much as she can.
