Here are pics of the 225/35 on 8.5 wheel and 235/35 on a 9.5 wheel.

The stretch in the back was perfect, the front was slight stretch, but nothing extreme.

here is a falken fk452 225/35 on a 9" wide wheel. Nitto Nt555's stretched the same.

The falkens though bubbled easily, and caused bad vibrations.

Any cheap online sites to get tires?? I am currently on falken 452's Front:19x8.5 225/35/19 Rear:19x9.5 235/35/19. But i am rubbing too much so i want moar stretch. I was thinking of going 205 in front, but they do not make them for 19's well at least I cant find them. So I am prolly gonna put my 225 in the rear and buy 215/35 for the front. And I was thinking of going with Federal SS-595.

I'm running 215/35/19 452s on 19x8.5 all around and couldn't be happier. It's a mild stretch but gave me the clearance I needed. Good luck man.

Is there that much of a difference between /40 and /35 more stretch or less or about the same?

the 40 will be more roundish than the 35 cause of the taller sidewall.

its a lot different for you guys on 18 inch wheels. I have the same setup as the OP 19x8.5 and 9.5. i have 235/35 front and 235/35 rear. falken 452's all around. they stretch well but be prepared for the vibrations and road noise if the road in your city arent prefect. I love the look of mine but it sucks because the roads here are horrible.

Here is 19x8.5 wheel wrapped in federal 595: 215/35/19. I would also like to add I just replaced my falken 452's 225/35/19 and it pretty much looks identical....

..and i ended up putting the flkn 452's 225/35/19, which replaced my 235/35/19 onto my rear wheel, which is 19x9.5...
