  • Alex Yoshioka's E36.

Just thought id start my little build thread or so... not so much of a full on build thread like most, just to have so i can compile all of my past and recent stages of the car. hope you guys enjoy :]

sept 2010 lowered on bottle caps.

Jan 2011 first set of wheels. BBS RZ

Oct. 2011 i just went completely out of control and slammed my car and put on some CF flippers which were completely useless. car was the lowest it has ever been. smashing my cross bar, frame rails, and oil pan on reflectors....

Nov. 2011 i sold the style 19s to Tony here on the forums. Picked up a set of JDM superstar dish wheels from vrwheels. these didnt last long.

Jan 2012. Within that 4month period i managed to go through 2 sets of wheels... and at that point i just kinda gave up on the car. and just didnt even want to touch it. so i just ended up with a set of style 32's

July 2012. Sold the style32's, and picked up a set of zauber dish wheels. almost identical to my last set ( superstars ). also another set which i picked up at vrwheels. these were an impulse buy i and have no reason why i even picked these up to be honest. it did look good nonetheless.

Sep. 2012 Finally sold the wheels to a local E36 owner and picked a set of BBS RZ412's up from another forum member here. And to be honest this set was probably my favorite out of all the previous wheels. i raised the car slight bit. other than that the car is still pretty much the same.

Jan. 2013. As a lot of you guys know i have recently sold the RZ's to buy a special set of wheels that i have had my eyes on for a while. wanted something that no other E36 has done here , but a very popular choice by many in the JDM community. i went and got myself a custom build Work VS-XX by vrwheels. redrilled to E36 spec. new lips all around and powdercoated faces gloss white. this one is surely a keeper i promise :] i only have iphone pictures as of now but will have a shoot done in the near future.

i shall update more and time goes on.

Very nice. Whats the usual cost of a set of BBS RZ412's? Those would look sexy on my E28.

I loved the style 19s. But the VSs take the cake.
