  • The "Weiss Guy" gets new shoes! BBSRS BSNS

UPDATE 1/27/2015 Wheels are for sale now.

    More pictures last post.

In anticipation of what's coming next I decided to make my very own teaser thread.

I know, but I never get to make them lol.

The short version is that I was PM-ing back and forth with Paul from "Ehrlich Wheel Works" -aka- "336Motorsports" and he told me that "if I sold my ACS Type 1s, he would build me a set of wheels that would make me forget about them"......or something like that.

I had backed out of selling those wheels twice and honestly thought that I would never sell them, but I went ahead and put them up for sale again anyway. It took 4 days to sell them and Paul had a deposit the same day to set the new build in motion. The specs will remain secret for now, but the wheels that are going on will be a baller set of BBS RS.:buttrock

    UPDATE 1/8/13

Got the 1/4 height caps on and lowered the rear.

    Update
I have to roll the rear a little more to get it down to where I want it, but the front is staying where it's at. Otherwise I wont be able to leave my driveway.

I just snapped a few quick pictures today, I am not a professional photographer so this will have to do for now.

The old wheels, in case you have not seen them.

A teaser of what's to come. Update 12/1Picking these up tomorrow.

    update 12/4
Got tires mounted and on the car, still messing around with the fitment.

I mean.....what color did you think they were going to be?

I would be interested to see what you would do with an E34.

Eventually you will. Finding one in NE that isn't rotted to shit is near impossible. I REALLY wanted the 540/6 that was FS in ATL but I didn't have time to go get it.

I'll eventually get my hands on one. Its on my long list of to-dos haha.
It still won't compare but i'd love to have a clean OEM plus one in the driveway one day.

Well good luck with your search. That one that was for sale here was at a shoot that we were doing for a new TV show pilot, It was really clean!

Love the old ones, even more the new direction!!

I always wanted a set of acs type 1's.
How do you feel they are forgiving with BBK's?

I know I can't run bbs rs for that reason on my M coupe, but do use the stock "roadstars"
Prefer to stay 17". 18" tops.

Please share your input, since yours seem to know that stuff well ;-)
