Its also fun when you see other low cars, I always throw them the thumbs up if it looks good. I was heading back home from Vermont a couple months ago when I saw a fairly low Jetta with a front mount start creeping up behind me. I slowed down so he could roll by and gave him the thumbs up because it was pretty clean. He in turn threw one back and we cruised for like 30 miles before going different directions. I always thought that was kinda cool, just cruising with random people on the highway.

I have to admit, this is also one of my favorite parts. about owning a modified car in general. Every now and then I'll bump into another car on the way home- a DC2 Integra, a Jetta, a Civic, ect- and they'll just stay behind me or near me in traffic until they reach where there going. I used to see a guy in a slammed Miata every few days, he would always flash his lights or stick his hand out when I passed by.

Hit the nail on the head. I live for the looks. Cruising at the speed limit in the right lane on a busy highway, everyone passing, EVERY SINGLE PERSON with they're mouths wide open telling they're passengers to look. People taking pictures/videos, the arm motions for camber, everything about it. Basically feeling, no, BEING cooler than any motherfucker on the road . Especially when your cruising squad deep with other properly done cars. The random people that come up to you when your parked and start talking to you about your car. The gas attendants asking to take pictures. I could go on and on. This is the kind of shit me and my friends talk about all the time. Driving along side a car obviously trying to be low/fitted and having them gawk. yeah motherfucker, this is how it's done

Fuck yeah I'll admit I'm a materialistic attention-craving dickhead. If anyone says they're building cars for any other reason they're lying.

Having coworkers follow me to the bank every night just to shower them in sparks. It's hilarious when they don't expect it and pull up at the bank freaking the fuck out. Ahhhh the good life. I can't wait to go lower.

i also want to add it the reactions from the little kids. I always get the typical thumbs up and comments, but its when a 6yr old is tugging on his dads pants saying how cool that car is really puts a smile on my face know that I may of just inspired that kid.

I can relate. My mom hates riding in my car. One day I took her to the casino on her day off...

I love all the neck breaking, which doesn't happen often for my car,(my daily is fairly bland) but when it does its rad. The frustration in peoples faces when they are behind me on a street with speed bumps is always priceless. I love the forever classic "is your car okay?" right after a scrape.

Best comment I have ever received in relation to being low was a middle aged lady in a new Jaguar next to me has been eyeing my front wheel for a while and we finally stop and she rolls down her window and asks, "Can yo- How- how do you turn?" I just said "With this wheel here [played with steering wheel]" I probably laughed about that for a week or two.

Anyways I remember the best moment with this car was rollin down the road doing my thing and there was a old skool lead slead rat rod in front of me. we come to a light with lead sled beside me at light and two girls behind me I notice in my rear view they are making some commotion. I don't bother and these girls make a quick lane change as the light goes green and im thinking they are going nuts over the lead sled........... they pass him and get in front of my car one chick pops out of her "assuming" moms Jag's sunroof and starts taking pics. They moved into the lane next to me still taking side shots i throw em the wave and roll on. ......................... Panty dropper.

I like the group of people surrounding the scene. I used to do the American muscle street racing scene, and its really a huge dick measuring contest., got gay fast. With the stance scene, everybody seems to accept each other, for the most part.

I love being able to say I built my car to the way I wanted it, then others got enjoyment out of it as well. It brings a smile to my face when others enjoy my ride as much as I do.

I love just finding people on the highway and cruising with them, giving and receiving thumbs up and crawling around the center of my town where there is always lots of people on the sidewalk and the roads are terrible.

Oh, and finally meeting the people who own the cars that you see around locally, that's great.

I gotta say my favorite part of being low is being able to take corners like a motherfucker. I mean I love turning heads and what not but my suv/audio project/donk will turn heads from a few hundred away. Going into a corner without even touching brakes and not having the slightest bit of body roll makes me feel like such a racekar driver even though i basically drive an underpowered go cart.
