Comes in rolls at Home Depot/Lowes/Ace Hardware etc. It's pretty soft stuff.

        Adam

PS, I even found it in 1.25" at McLendon's Hardware

          • Ok, so here's some updates as promised. Where to start????

I'll just start where I started getting it ready for iPd. I had to widen the pedal box in order to get the Wilwood three master cylinder assembly a home.

And in case you couldn't tell my workshop is my driveway for the current time.

I also started filling the holes in the firewall. To get ready for iPd this also included some late nights.

Once I had everything pretty well smoothed out I sprayed the engine bay with tintable bedliner mixed with some of the leftover color from painting my car.

Since the sun was cooperating I went ahead and got some color on the door jambs too. This was just regular single stage like the outside though.

The hydraulic throwout bearing took a little clearance work and drill/tap a hole for the guide pin.

Then I bolted the engine and trans together and dropped them in.

Clearance is still just as tight as I remember.

            • As I'm looking at just how tight everything fits i realize something's missing.

              Oh, yeah, the alternator!!

So I used some flat stock at work and made a turnbuckle out of a LHT/RHT rod ends to tension it up.

Then the tank got a -6 low mount pickup and return.

I welded up some mounts to the pedal box and bolted up the assembly. It's ugly cause I slathered everything in seam sealer before spraying some black on it. I also welded some 3" tube through the firewall for the steering coupler and used a CV boot to seal it up.

Master cylinder inlets and reservoir locations.

And of course the hard lines.

              • I had to plug these two holes since I didn't need them and they were too close for comfort to the wheel well.

I tacked together the downpipe so I could have my buddy over at thedubshop.net TIG it up for me.

I added a flex pipe at the bottom to act more as a heat sink so I can V-band the aluminum exhaust the rest of the way back. I'm also leaving the wastegate open dump.

Next came some figuring. Like how to make these tight connections.

Then I moved on to the parking brake.

                ****CRAPPY PIC ALERT****

                • Next came the brake adapters. Custom machined brackets.

Then bolt on the rotors and calipers.

Lines were next. Stainless S/R lines from iPd and adapters from Jegs

I ordered a big radiator from eBay and had it sent straight to NIW to be shortened.

We still have more mods to do to it, but he shortened it up to get it to fit in the chassis. I dropped it in place with the intercooler that I had The Dub Shop weld my BOV flange to.

                  Talk about tight clearances.

One place Nathan is gonna figure out for me, filler neck location.

                  • Another shot.

Bottom tube will be swapped for a 90* bend upwards

Top tube will be swapped with a 45* angled towards the water neck

Gotta line up the belts!! :-P

My favorite part of the intake. Custom made for me.

Some more details getting buttoned up.

Coil packs mounted and brakes filled and bled. Crappy that they sent me a blue 90* coupler and I didn't open the box till last minute.

                    • I had to loop through the fender with the turbo outlet.

And make a straight 90* on the throttle body inlet.

On the trailer to go to iPd.

                      Getting a quick wash.

                      The VIP section at iPd.

You can also just see the airdam peeking from behind the bumper.

Danny got me a B230 emblem that I stuck on the cam cover for now. Later it'll be mounted permanently.

                      HQ himself made an appearance.

                            • I love this project, and ever since the boys at koenigsegg did theirs I've been infatuated with 2 door amazon wagons. brilliant work and a great outcome you have going here I just can't get past the wheels, maybe I just **** that they remind me of those torque thrusts. I know that they're rollers so I'm super curious as to what you're thinking for the permanent set, and specs. are you refinishing the interior as well? copper accents? tweed and leather? man I love this thing
