Car started out as a 1.2 8V, the most basic of basic.


heres it with sport wheels and the full clio sport bodykit

Doner boot as im smoothing mine and mine had tinted window so smoothed mine instead of the blue one

half smoothed


4 to 5 stud adapters


gave car a full respray in mercedes pearl white



had the lips polished then i painted them the same colour as the car


smoothed the rear bumper recess

smoothed door handles

smoothed bumper plate recess and headlight washer jets

got a 182 inlet manifold and polished it

did 2litre engine conversion



will soon be putting the smooth doors and the wheels on and painting the car again

got the rear bumper primed and fitted, just need to cut the exhaust holes out before i paint it

had a mess around with the wheels

will need to roll the archs or do something as i want the tyres to just be in the arch, i was going to get air bags but i did the engine conversion instead

will order new coilies next week when i get paid, the final smooth door is ready for priming so hopefully i should have it all done next month, will be leaving it off the road for a while and keep it in the bodyshop so i can flat and polish it all so its perfect

today has been eventful, slammed the car and pulled the archs out

starting grinding away to fill the arch, and theres that much paint on it on i decided to start again...

Why not just buy a 182 in the first place? Im not trying to be ignorant man, just Ive never seen the logic in putting all that hard work turning a car into something you can buy off the shelf.

Cos then you'd have to tell Mr Insurance man and the DVLA. Or so is the case usually. I hope not, but DVLA's tax enquiry service says so

simply because i had the chance to get a written of one for next to nothing and though the engine would look nice in mine! And the car doesnt get driven now it spends most of its time being trailored and will soon not be insured at all...
