here are a few pictures of the ridiculous work that goes into these. We weld the centers shut, redrill to 4x100 then mill the front. I try to leave a few of the original bbs markings for obvious reasons, but also like to get rid of the weld build up so it looks perfect. then we machine custom hub rings, and weld them to the back pad of the wheel. for added strength and also so it looks like it came like this from the factory. Couldnt be a better redrill out there. Faces are then media blasted and powdercoated (2 stage in this case). It just came back a few seconds ago, so its not bolted up or assembled in any way. Just put together for a quick mock up
here are a few pictures of the set I spoke of yesterday that will be ready for immediate sale. the metallic gunmetal powder is stunning in real life. pictures do it no justice
I also now just got another set in my hands this morning, and it is going for the same treatment this week. So now there are 2 sets available at this time.. Might be the last two RS sets for the winter
redrill +weld +machining
as i said, the work is second to none.. in this set, we also milled a small amount of the backpad edge down for brake clearanceLast edited by 1badg35; 12-15-2012, 03:39 PM.sigpic

so the following 2 sets are in the works that are still available:
set 1: the metallic gunmetal set i posted above
can be any combination of 16x8, 16x8.5, and or 16x9
set 2: gloss white faces, 4x100 works
same combination of widths can be chosen or something else if needed
will have gold plated bolts, black inner barrels, gold anodized full height hex caps, and black/gold bbs logos.
those are the 2 sets that will be up for grabs. the gunmetal set will be complete in a matter of days, the white set in about 2 or 3 weeks as I am waiting on my lips to arrive from my german fabricator. Ran out of the last batch
both sets are welded, redrilled, milled, and then the extra added bonus i have started to add into the work is that We machine custom hub rings out of the same aluminum and weld them to the wheel during the welding process. So no cheap hub rings to purchase. added strength, less cheap parts on the set
2650 for eitherLast edited by 1badg35; 12-17-2012, 04:28 PM.sigpic

Anyone want a set in raw aluminum finish? Ive been thinking of putting together one of these sets with raw faces, and raw lips with matte clear powder over both. Maybe some chrome assembly hardware and polished conical caps? Just throwing the thought out there.
I will put a wheel together next weekend to show what I am thinking when I am at the shop.sigpic

all questions have been answered, and all of the sets are pending or gone. With the new wheel line coming soon, I likely will not be doing any RS sets for a little while. I would like to get some more rare things finished up and either run them on the projects, or build for someone elses projects.
if someone has a question, there is likely info on the blog.. this is also where to keep posted on the current projects as they happensigpic
