  • Geting the hang of it (e36 content) Pic Heavy

Never really thought of making a build thread but History class has me bored.

Didn't plan on making a build thread so ill bring you through the phases of my car and now looking back at these pics, I asked myself. What the fuck was I thinking?

So here is my car the first day it was in my driveway. I was 16 years old and had no sense of the stance community and never heard of it really.

    BMW 1999 323is
    Color: Stahlblau
    How I got it:

    M3 front bumper
    M3 Rear bumper
    Luxury Skirts
    Honda Accord Spoiler
    17x8 Beyern Reps et - 40

Still with no sense of stance and thinking " I can get these cheap and look awesome, I'm so doing it! " I bought some 1 piece headlights from ebay. -.-

Next I decided to tint my taillights because I didn't like the Amber tails.

    Monster Truck

Went to a local meet and saw an mk4 jetta with a flannel plaid interior which I thought looked pretty sick. So I tried it myself. Didn't come out too bad.

Always loved french'd lights so I went with it on the shitty lights.

By this time I started getting into the stance game. I was set on lowering my car, but financially it wasn't going to happen yet. 6 hours a week at minimum wage isn't great.
So by this time I went and got a Euro Plate that has personal meaning, Black Kidney Grille, French'd lights, Headliner, Clear taillights.

Finally ended up getting some coils. I some how managed to pull some money together to get some Racelands ( best worst investment ever made ).

Car was finally lowered and also picked up some depo glass headlights and clear corners to match. Kept the whole french'd theme as well.

Then came Dubs in the Sand and went with my buddy and his Imola Red e36 ( Currently has s50b32 euro swap ).

Then came brokedown and more had changed. Proper shoot this time.

This is how it currently sits.

    Whats been done since beginning:
    -Removed Spoiler
    -Depo Lights
-Removed french, flat black high beams now
    -Maxed out Racelands
    -Rear fenders rolled
    -Magnaflow catback
    -aFe stage 2 intake
    -Front wheels 205/45/17

    Whats going to happen:
-StanceWorks Zero Clearance coils have been ordered and on the way
-UUC Front strut bar also on the way
    -New front top mounts
    -New rear shock mounts
    -New tow hook cover
    - 205/40 or 205/35 for fronts and move the 205/45's to the rear
    -Roll front fenders
-Space rears with 25mm or 30mm
-Space fronts ( Haven't measured it out yet )
-Rear camber arms ( If finances let me )

There it is. I will keep this updated as things come in the mail.

Thanks. I am hoping more stretch and fitment will make them look better.

Thanks, I am gonna be swapping to some smoked corners to see if the front end will flow a bit more.

Picking up my AST ZC's tomorrow along with my UUC front strut bar which I got at an amazing deal tomorrow. Also placed my order for Turner MotorSport RSM kit. Also have to replace trailing arm bushing cause mine shit the bed. -.-

Anywho, once I get the coils in and tires on, hoping to get some final measurements for spacers. Looking at a 30mm spacer in the rear just to get flush. -___- gay wheels are gay
