Let's talk about digitizing film!

K guys, I'm finally out of my emo slump where I haven't shot anything in the last 6 months. I'm ready to start shooting again, but want to use my film cameras more. I've shot a handful of rolls through my old Yashica but the problem is that the only place I know of in AZ that will make me a CD of high-res files is like an hour from my house.

What are my options, and does anyone have personal experience with them? I'll be shooting 35mm only.

hmm I guess a negative scanner is on my Christmas list. I've heard of some online services that will scan your negatives. Anyone have experience with them?
