What MM thickness were his tanks ?
My tanks will never have more then 150psi in them again.
I went to 190psi just to make sure.

Originally posted by NorCalFocus View PostI'm by far no expert, but I would say the larger tank is why it bulged out. The OP's tanks are much smaller and will have much more spine to them vs your buddy's tank. Just my .02

Last test: Tank's in holder, 155psi for 24 Hrs,With a 1mm buldge ( A bees dick basically)
Front
Back View.
The reason for the hole cut out in the wheel well is too work on the Air lines and trying to work out where the sub will go,I'm still thinking flush finish and maybe counter sunk so I can put a lid over it for shows.
At this stage Im thinking of doing all the wiring & plumbing from behind,Icould do it under the tanks but dont have a lot of room.

Not to sound like a downer or anything but you should have pressure tested the tanks for a lot more than what you're going to be running (and stand behind something while you're doing it). The tanks we sell are pressure tested up to four times their listed maximum capacity.
