Some of you may know my e28 who sports a set of 14x6 now cream colored basketweaves, wrapped in tons of tire.
This is no longer the case.
The wheels I picked up from my friend in Lynchburg. They were wrapped in 215/60's which was a little too much meat to handle. My good friends from NoVa, Matt, Max, Carter, and Kirk met up with me yesterday and helped me dismount the old tires and mount and balance the new ones.
I have to say, I've met nice guys in the car world, but none that are willing to go out of their way to help me out like this. To all the NoVa guys and girls, thanks so much for hanging out, helping me out and making me feel welcome. I don't think I would have actually pulled through on wheels and gotten the tires and all I needed to get this together without you guys.
Of course, she isn't done. I plan to pick up some new tires soon to get some stretch going, as well as pick up some spacers. Hopefully once I've gotten the stretch, I'll be able to run 25mm all around.
