Default The One We Said Not To Forget

It has been almost exactly 1 year since I purchased this car, and I can finally walk outside and truly say I am content with where it is at. That is not to say there is not still a long list of things to get done, but as any real car guy knows, you can never truly finish a build.

Since you have last saw it I had swapped in a 1JZ-GTE Twin Turbo Toyota Supra Motor with the help of one of my best friends Michael Burroughs, in a single weekend no less. I had also refinished a set of fire damaged HRE 501's sitting 17x10 all round, as well as cleaned up multiple other little things on the car. There have been countless other nights spent under the car with good friend's helping out to get it to this point and I can not thank them enough. A huge thanks has to go out to Adaptec for providing the gorgeous adapters to get the wheels on the car, as well as Chuck for his unbeatable fabrication skills. A special thanks does have to go out to Ryan and Luke who put in a few long nights on the car before IA to get it ready in time, as well as the countless others who have helped along the way.

The full write-up and photos can be found on the blog: http://www.stanceworks.com/2011/07/f...-525e-returns/

Awesome. I'd kill for those HREs.

Is that Rusty's engine?? /edit: Guess not.

    /edit:

Only thing that would make it even better, is if you'd shave those sidemarkers on the front fenders.

    /edit:

    Just read the feature. Awesome.

And the last sentence has got me sitting on the edge of my seat as well.

I would eventually like to shave them as well, but they drilled into the fenders when federalizing the car, so they will stay for now. Its not the same motor, it does have some of the parts off Rusty's motor though, such as the charge pipes.

You have no idea how much I love this thing Jeremy. It is literally my perfect e28. I usually look at e28's and see a few little things that make me say ehh they could have done this better. I can't find a single thing like that on your car. Bravo, can't wait to see it in person some day.

Can't you raise the engine more?
