some updates on the car. I replaced the two front wheel bearings and put new axles in the car. night and day difference! the car rides so smooth now.

my front tires on the keskins are completely bald, full slick status. I have 204/40 yokohama prada spec 2 they were great tires but I decided to go with a 195 40 yokohama s drive this time around to get a slight bit of stretch allowing me to run the front lower.

now on to some cosmetic stuff. as some of you know I had a guy back into me last fall, breaking my grille, bending the hood and denting the fender. all very minor but still needed to be fixed. I got a red fender and hood off a red parts car.

off, I was surprised for having 263xxx miles the car is rust free!

being original VW paint its was heavily oxidized.





I still have to buff the rest of the car but i hit the new parts quick.
