Please lock this, delete it or whatever. I've been thinking of making something to eat for 15 mins.. Now I have to get up, walk to the kitchen and actually do something.. -.-

Nachos I made for breakfast: pork chorizo, a little lime juice, cheddar, mexican sour cream (yes, it makes a difference) and sprinkled with fresh cilantro.

I LOVE cooking! So does the GF so we make epic shit.

Rosemary Skillet Chicken (not pictured, homemade garlic herb butter)

Bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon with scalloped potatoes and fresh-baked bread (another garlic butter sauce on top)

Homemade from scratch carrot cake (in a heart to give to my mom for her birthday )

Even in Culinary school, my instructors insisted that we eat out and not cook at home. Their reasoning was, to cook for one or two costs more than going out, and if you go out to eat, you try more things and diversify your palate moreso than if you ate at home all the time.

Yes and no since it depends what you're getting and where.
On the other hand you can make food at home that will last for a couple days even though personally I can't stand food that's been sitting around in the fridge or freezer at that.

I am a chef and my family have owned restaurants for years.... I don't cook professionally anymore. But next time I make something, I will be sure to take pics.

I like the idea of skillet chicken. One of these days I want to do a pork fillet fulled with pesto with a cashew crust.

^^ You could pound and roll it around the pesto, maybe add something else inside..

Ever made your own fresh bread crumbs? Best way to make chicken parm or anything else that needs them.

Loving where this thread is going ! Been cooking a while, but can't manage to get that good. Probably because I have a hard time following recipes and I make things up a lot.

Got some chicken thighs in the fridge marinating in garlic, orange juice, soy sauce, lime juice and pepper. Can't wait to cook it.
