Thread: The Best Way's To Get Slammed?

  1. #1

Thumbs up The Best Way's To Get Slammed?

I wanna lower my FE1(specta 5). I bought some coilovers (2 way-crappy as hell) and put them on and all they did was drop it about 1/2 inch instead of the 3 they said....they have been returned (F ebay)

So now I'm looking into some new coils & maybe idea's on what to do with the FE1

Some brands that are good that you personally have experiance with? Im currently looking at some 32 way D2's but I'm not sure how well they work & don't want to get stuck with some bad coil's (again)

Here is the trick, the coils either need to be for the FE1 or a 2003-2008 Tiburon.

I would like some advice or input, and please don't tell me I'm wasting my time on it, because until you get in it and take a ride with me, you probably will never understand.

legitimate coilovers will be your bestfriend, just peep around.

Or you can be ghetto like me and chop some springs!

Yeah I have seen them before but from what I have heard they only drop about 2" and for $1000 or more 2" isnt enough!

XYZ and D2 both have the adjustable bottom mount, if I recall correctly, which means they are the best type of coilover to lower your car a lot.

Just a heads up, the neon tubes will most likely get smashed to pieces, slammed + neons won't end well.

Also, it looks terrible... IMO... Car would be way better off without it.

And yes, I do have a problem with your underglow. Not only does it not look good, but even the people that liked it stopped liking it around 4-5 years ago. Maybe your memo got misplaced?

I actually don't mind how the spectra5 looks, but you're already walking a thin line by owning it. Be careful with what you do or else it could tip towards the bad side very quickly.

they are tucked into my side skirts. They can't get damaged unless my sideskirts get damaged.

MY CAR...yes my car, not your car or anyone elses. My car is for me and me alone, I'm not trying to please you or anyone else besides myself.

Honestly, who cares whats "cool" and others find "attractive" because in the end it just shows how insecure and shallow they are expecially when they don't do what they want because of it.

and on topic, please tell us it's at least a manual.

Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

    Sincerely,

P.S. Is your tail a wagon?
