  • W124 Coupe fun...

just noticed that I haven't started a build thread... so here's the progress

Happy with the fit up front:

Ready for Players '10 with The Milky Bar Kid:

With my other pals 123 @ Players '10:

Retired for a repaint and a shave:

after a couple of months in the paint shop... :P

    picking it up:

    putting it down:

    I'm a happy lad

Decreasing arch gap clearance on old Benz's is a mofo, especially as it's on it's arse!

I'd love to cut another coil off really but it's a daily so I need a little compromise unfortunately

the rear spacers didn't have as much impact as I expected, shows you can go pretty wide on these with smaller tyres (wouldn't see 10" rears being an issue at all) but the stance is drastically improved with them on!

oh, while I was waiting I got some spare visors from a salvage yard and made these too:

all I need to do now is fit the steering wheel and enjoy it! what do you think???

Looks like a solid start, more low, replace the sticker on the windshield with a StanceWorks sticker, ditch the sticker bombed visors, and it'd be tits.

any reason you didnt run the original caps you had?
