  • 81' Audi 80 b2...

Here you go then, certainly not representing the UK but seeing as there is no other UK cars on here I thought I'd 'man up' and show you my car...

    It's a 1981 Audi 80 b2 and is a rolling project (who's isn't?)

    Pics:

I still have so many plans - it's defo a long termer - but it'll get there.

And yes before peeps say, the front is going lower! Coilovers made for it to go on, just need the dampers...

    Thanks for looking.

        Cheers mate!

Plans of coilovers on front to remove the reverse rake, 185 tyres so I can maybe squeak a spacer on the back.

Oh and full repsray and wheel refurb! Lmao!

        We'll see, no rush.

Lots done, my write up is over on Linvsdriver.com but here's a recent shot...

De-tango, sprayed wheels, just waiting till engine out in the summer for coilovers fitment.

Without sounding like a twat I'm mad busy at the mo, actually a teacher now head of department and a family man too shows are few and far between! I'll be at the retroshow this year, and I'm also running a show too in my local area as I run lincsdriver.com

So I doubt it, if one comes up at the right time I sure will! This one is on my wedding anniversary! Doh!

hahaha, its almost not physically possible to go much lower, as I will not be able to get out of my close (big speed bumps)

Like I say, the back is getting 1 more degree neggy camber, and 6mm spacer to push it as far as poss, the neggy should drop it the tiny bit i need to get it a bit tail up and nose down once the coilovers go on.

Its on 70mm lowering springs at the front but simply sitting at the bottom of the damper/on the bump stops which are not easily accessible to cut down. Therefore shorter shocks are on the cards and I have some front struts that have been converted to coilovers with adjustable collars (you simply cannot buy these)

So yes lower, no to bags! I simply cant afford it, but I have been brought up on a 67' bug that literally dug up the concrete it was so low (dropped spindles and adjustable beam on smart car tyres will do that!) so I'm not fussed about bags.

                              Are they 16's?

I could see it sitting alot nicer on audi winters in 14/15's
