The 62 I'll most likely be using what I can body wise. Frame, motor, etc I won't be using.

I was kinda into the 71 tho.
Lol take that work truck and swap the c10 body work on it

My dad just bought two 60 something c10’s so I’m keenly interested

I liked the 71 too but money always talks lol I won't be letting go of the 62. I have solid plans for it and I'm pretty hype. The work truck, well, I'm glad to just have something running and driving that I can take to meets and shows again.

Anyone have an idea how to change a thread title if possible? Already edited the first post but hasn't changed it at all lol

dying at this!!! its unfortunate though

The '62 looks like a promising build! Would like to see you pick it up, do the swap and then drop off the stock motor with the truck powered by an LS in it and freak him out lol

lol the plan for the 62 is simple, at least to me. I want to do a gasser style build with a modern power plant.

I don't think it should be too difficult lol

C10's just seem to be all the rage right now and part of me is slightly "meh" about it. oh well lol

Picked up a set of 2" drop shackles for the rear of the White GMC off another forum for cheap and scored some OEM 18's off CL for cheap as well. Going with the 2" drop shackles, pulling the rear block which will get me about 3" lower in the rear in addition to grabbing 2" drop spindles for the front. My goal is to end up around 4/6 total. Pretty excited as this will make a great parts hauler for when I start on the '62.
