It ties into the fuse box harness which is why you only get a section of wire I assume

You should keep those door panels. Has a cool 90's rich guy vibe to it

Some progress was made tonight. Got one bolt that was snapped, out of the block. Unfortunately the other two are unsaveable without a right angle drill and a tap and die. I dont feel like drilling it out, I'm going to put it together as is and keep a watchful eye and dont beat on it. The engine wont be staying long anyways. Aside from that I cleaned the interior a little bit and started swapping the radiator. Tomorrow I hope to button it up and take it down the street and see how it does. Will check back this weekend

Door cards are definitely not staying but I might take the wood trim and wrap it in carbon fiber or something. We will see

Sad haha, haven't seen much of that light colored wood trim. Looks cool.

Got the radiator in and coolant bled as well as the motor mount back in. Needed to swap the wheels off the M3 and throw some DSIIs on so here is how it looked like on the ground.

Moving the front 205/45's to the rear and grabbing 205/40's for the front to get it driving basically. The car doesn't really move on the current setup. Next on the agenda was cleaning the stickers off because I pretty much **** most stickers on cars unless they're well thought out and coordinated

Threw the M3 front bumper on

Thinking of it now I should really order a front plate delete, fog light delete and lux grille for this car. One thing at a time however.

Briefly cleaned the interior to get the surface filth off, took apart the console to throw away the armrest because it was probably going to give me hepatitis

I also bought a NRG hub spacer so I didn't have to order a boss hub to replace my momo hub because I am cheap. So here's some cheap Nardi content

I plan to restore the leather a little bit and get it looking right if I can. I've always wanted a Nardi.

Pulled the moldy Vaders out of the M3 and wiped them down.

Doing this made me realize that I should do the full interior swap now since everything's pretty easy to do and I have the space readily available right now. So I'm going to gut the M3 this week and swap EVERYTHING over that's usable. Should make it halfway decent inside.

I left tonight off with mocking the M3 twist skirts and installing the M side trim that I purchased new and had on the white E36 coupe.

            This weeks plans are:

            Gut the M3
            Swap tires on the RFs
            Dye the grey carpet black
Install black interior into green E36

            Should have another update soon

What if you did the top of the dash and door panel main sections in black to tie in the black Vaders? That wood must be a rare dealer option, it's rad!

I'll be honest, the wood is pretty cracked and it doesn't have the rear panels to match otherwise I would have considered it. But I kind of have OCD when it comes to cars and I like everything to tie in together. The fact that my Nardi has red stitching even bothers me lol

Mine is all cracked, too. At that age, it's just patina...

Stitching can be dyed my friend. Please keep that wood, I'd buy it and I don't even have a coupe man. It's stunning

Me too, I have all my steering wheels custom made to order because even the spokes' shape bothers me if it doesn't "flow" with the dash LOL

Those vaders look mint, I am jealous AF

They're in ok shape, they need to repaired in a few spots where the stitching has become undone and the color is starting to wear a little bit but overall I'm happy enough to not feel guilty sitting in them. Over time I want to get them re done

I don't plan on doing anything like that, time is an issue for me usually
