Appears to be a clean shell. Please keep the non m bumper, everyone goes m but the non m look is much cleaner imo. Will be watching this one.

PS, cool to see another e36 in the New England area haha, very few people here in Maine care about cars. Especially older, rough around the edges types.

I think so too, but green will not be permanent down the road. But a color change is the last of my worries right now

Hahaha, this is true. The roads are awful, too, on top of that. Would be nice to have a big meet up here though, it is scenic haha

If it wasn't beat sauce I would agree.

Car should be coming home soon, just working on a trailer situation

So here it is, in all of its glory.

The first issue I faced was getting two flat tires maybe two miles from where we left from. The second was a dead battery, and while I waited for AAA to arrive I let the car idle not really thinking anything of it. You can probably guess where this is headed.

The car 1000% has a cracked head but I'm not keeping the engine so I'm just going to toss a radiator in and drive it and see how well this M50 fairs. I really shouldn't have trusted the car to stay cool but I havent ever had an issue in the past. After 3 hours we got the car home though

The cars interior is absolutely trashed so once the car is driveable that's the first objective. The previous owner is keeping his seats and steering wheel

Tonight I will be swapping the previous owners parts out and starting the work on the motor mount situation. Hopefully I can get it driving this week

Better off than my new chassis. Doesn't seem bad.

Just a lot of questionable things done to the car which we will showcase and repair

It's an e36. The whole cars are questionable.

I started the process of taking off the previous owners parts that he will be keeping tonight. Was a simple process but jacking it up took me a hot minute since it wasn't on ramps. But after taking out the seats I realized how truly TRASHED the interior is.

Its relieving knowing I already have a full interior on standby ready to go in. But for now I will clean up what I have and go from there. One saving grace is that I was able to keep the Broadway Statics

The downside though is there is some surface rust I noticed which I've commonly seen on most fortune auto coilovers. Also here is the busted radiator, the side tank popped off the radiator core.

And the mess of an engine bay

I already deleted the wiper tank and will be removing the cruise control as much as I love it. The motor mount repair starts tomorrow, it might not go smoothly but we will see. I can't wait to show how mangled it is. Hopefully tomorrow there will be more updates

Are you not using the cruise control? Is there any way the dedicated wiring loom can be saved? I want cc on my daily so bad but every used "kit" I find only has 3" long pigtails and I'd prefer to have the clean OEM wiring to go with it
